In response to the evolving needs of hospitals and healthcare environments Humanscale Healthcare has developed the T4 Mobile Technology Cart product line. Part of the TouchPoint family, the T4 Cart is a cost effective, versatile and durable solution that can be deployed as a traditional point of care workstation as well as being suited for patient-facing applications such as video communication.
ABOUT THE DESIGN
The T4 Cart can be configured for a range of technology devices including laptops, tablets and All-in-One PCs depending on the required solution. With minimal component parts, the product has been developed with rapid deployment in mind, requiring minimal on-site assembly.
The modular nature of the product means that as needs change over time, the T4 Cart can be reconfigured and redeployed in different areas and for different applications based on demand. Reconfiguration is possible using simple hand tools, reducing the need to bring specialist technicians on-site.
The Touchdown Cart solution provides a temporary workstation for doctors on ward rounds or when multiple specialists need to gather at the point of care.
The simple, easy to clean surface can be used to place a laptop or other assessment or treatment equipment.
Laptop Charting Cart
The Laptop Charting Cart solution provides caregivers a compact point of care workstation suitable for charting and patient documentation tasks.
A laptop can be secured to the work surface using the integrated locking bar and a storage basket beneath the work surface provides space for a charger and cable.
Patient Communication Cart
The Patient Communication Cart solution addresses the increased need for video-based patient communication in isolation or limited contact ward areas.
Patients may use the cart at the bedside to communicate with friends and relatives who are not able to visit, and doctors may use the cart to communicate virtually with a patient without needing to enter a restricted area.
